Housing and Development Needs in Your Community: Make Your Input Count

PIERRE – Every community in South Dakota has housing and community development needs and South Dakota Housing Development Authority (SDHDA) and the Governor’s Office of Economic Development are seeking input on how they should allocate their housing and community development resources for the coming year.

Annually, SDHDA and GOED review and update the Consolidated Housing and Community Development Plan (Plan).  The Plan, which details how the state will allocate its housing and community development resources for calendar year 2011, also provides specific information regarding the Housing and Urban Development programs.

Persons interested in providing comments prior to the drafting of the 2011 Consolidated Housing and Community Development Plan Update, the 2011-2012 HOME Program Allocation Plan and the 2011-2012 Housing Tax Credit Qualified Allocation Plan can attend one of the following public meetings or can send comments to SDHDA at PO Box 1237, Pierre, SD 57501, fax to 605.773.5154 or email them to Lorraine@sdhda.org.
