Notice of Second Comment Period
PIERRE- Under Title XII of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 for the Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP), the State of South Dakota is eligible to receive $3.2 million to provide additional funding to alleviate homelessness in South Dakota. South Dakota Housing Development Authority (SDHDA) presented the HPRP Plan for public comment April 2009. Since that time, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has provided additional clarifications to the HPRP Program. In order to incorporate the necessary changes, SDHDA has made substantial amendments to the Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program Plan and is inviting the public to review and provide comments to the amended HPRP Plan.
